- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office in Dallas, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana, Texas. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery requirements contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option period are as follows: 300 inpatient days and 350 outpatient visits. The solicitation will be available on or about January 2, 2002 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about February 6, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
