- Description
- The National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Quote for a firm-fixed price contract to inventory 90 percent of the vascular plant species at selected sites within the Big Cypress National Preserve, Southwest Florida. Price to include the following: The contractor shall inventory at least 90% of the species of vascular plants currently estimated to occur in Big Cypress National Preserve, create an Arc View shape file with all sample points, create FGDC compliant metadata to describe the GIS data, and collect and prepare voucher specimens for all applicable species. This inventory is scheduled to occur over three years, with funding based on an initial 8 week inventory work schedule the first year, an 18 week schedule the second year and a final 8 weeks the third year.
