- Description
- GSA is announcing its intent to issue a procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contract will be a fixed price effort for POTS Meridian telephone equipment in support of Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS); Indianapolis, IN 46249. The requirement is for 525 refurbished handsets and an adjustment for a trade of 473 Meridian handsets. The requirement for refurbished units includes 325 each M5316 (Business Display/Speaker Set), 100 each M5008 (Business Set), and 100 each M5208 (Business Display Set). Units for trade-in include 300 each M2616, 100 each 2008, 65 M2008INL, and 8 each M2317. Meridian equipment is required to ensure compatibility with existing proprietary systems. Replacement units are to be color black, unless a different color is proposed. Refurbished equipment is to be shipped to DFAS, C/O Ron Bales; 317.510.5995; 8899 E. 56th Street, Room 136; Indianapolis, IN 46249. Standard commercial warranty shall apply. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation, reference Number 5TC5702R002. This RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-27, NAICS Code 421690, Telephone Equipment Wholesaling applies. Size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is to provide the information technology equipment, shipping and warranty identified. Desired Delivery Date: 17 December 2001. Required Delivery Date: 20 December 2001.
