- NA The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is seeking serious sources interested in offering to perform detailed design, fabrication, assembly, and test of the Decade-Half. This system must deliver a pulse-power generated x-ray in the 3 keV (cold) spectru m over a large area to provide a simulated nuclear weapon environment to flight articles and subsystems. The Decade-Half will integrate and operate with GFE facilities, test chamber, and other x-ray sources at the Arnold Engineering Development Center (AE DC), Arnold AFB, Tennessee, and must be completed by the end of Fiscal Year 2005. The contractor will be responsible for conducting Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews, fabricating all the necessary pulsed power components, modifying existing Decade h ardware as needed, and developing and integrating the assembly and test activities jointly with AEDC personnel. No Statement of Work or Statement of Objectives is available at this time. See Note 25. This is a request for information only.
