Description
Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to rehab the heating system in the Station Building at U.S. Coast Guard Station Neah Bay. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: (a) Replace the existing hydronic cabinet heaters with new cabinet heaters, controls, and factory installed piping packages. Piping package includes ball valve; normally open, two-position 3-way control valve, and circuit setter. Connect new cabinet heater with existing electric power and make the system operational; (b) Replace existing automatic relief and bleeding valves in the hydronic heating system; (c) Remove existing, hot water circulating pump in the hot water return piping. Provide a new one horsepower hot water circulating pump in the hot water supply piping as indicated. Provide 208 volt, single phase, electric power to this pump and make it operational; (d) Replace existing expansion tank in the boiler room with new expansion tank with airtrol tank fitting. Modify existing tank support as needed; (e) Replace existing differential pressure controller with new one; (f) Flush all hot water piping, clean the perforated screens in the pipe strainers, refill, and startup the water system; (g) Test, adjust, and balance the hydronic heating system. Circuit setters shall be provided integral with new cabinet heaters. Provide additional circuit setters/valves in the piping system as needed for balancing the system; and (h) Furnish the services of a competent instructor to give full instruction to designated Government personnel in the adjustment, operation, and maintenance; including pertinent safety requirements, of the new heating system. The period of performance is 90 Calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and is open to both small and large business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 235110. Size Standards is $11.5. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
