- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Helicopter Tailboom Strake prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N00019-02-R-3065 is issued as a request for proposal and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01. The solicitation shall be awarded on a sole source basis to Boundary Layer Research Inc. Everett, WA. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 334310 with a size standard of below 750 employees. The following item is required CLIN 0001, One (1) UH-1N Tailboom Strake Kit DTBS2050-301; CLIN 0002, On-Site ground flight test support for the test installation and removal on one UH-1N aircraft for preliminary flight characteristics and handling qualities evaluation. Delivery NLT 120 days; acceptance shall be made at destination upon delivery. Delivery shall be made FOB Origin. Ship to Naval Rotary Wing Aircraft Test Squadron. Attn: Gary Hammett, 22755 Saufley Road, Bldg 111, Suite 3A, Patuxent River MD 20670. The following FAR/DFAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-3 ALTERNATE III, 52.212-4, 52-212-5, 252.212-7001. The following subparagraphs of FAR 52.212-5(b) apply: (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (22). The following subparagraphs of FAR 52.212-7001(b) and (c) apply: 252-225-7001. A Completed copy of the following must be included with the quote: FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000. The following clause also applies: DFARS 252.204-7004, "Required Central Contractor Registration". The DPAS rating for this solicitation is A1.
