Description

Contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, materials and equipment to install a new water line loop to 13 houses and two buildings. This should include but not limited to 19 new isolation valves at grade. The water line is to be at least 18 ? below ground and incased in sand. Utility box is to be provided at each new valve to allow access to valve. Water line to be approximately 500? of 3? schedule 40 PVC along the west side of the loop and approximately 2500? of 2? schedule 40 PVC around the houses. The lines going to the houses will be ?? schedule 40 PVC. There are 13 new 2?x3/4? reducing T?s to the houses. Install two new 3? x 2? reducing Ts and various 90s and 45 degree elbows. Trenching and boring is to be done by contractor at the U.S. Port of Entry, Lukeville, AZ. Contractor will be required to coordinate work with GSA to minimize impact of water flow. This project is located at the U.S. Port of Entry, Lukeville, Arizona. Work to be performed includes prepping. When calling with questions or requests for solicitation packet be prepared to state name, address and solicitation number PBS-09P-9PDT-0007. All responsible sources may submit a written offer, which will be considered by General Service Administration FB-44, 300 W. Congress St., Rm. 2-J, Tucson, AZ 85701-1380. Receipt date for solicitation packet request shall be no later than 01/04/02. REQUESTS MAY EITHER BE MADE BY FAX (520) 670-4752 OR IN WRITING to General Service Administration FB-44, 300 W. Congress St., Rm. 2-J, Tucson, AZ 85701-1380. Solicitation packages will be mailed 01/07/02. A pre-bid site visit is being held on 01/15/02, 11:00 a.m. local time at the U.S. Port of Entry, Lukeville, AZ. Questions are to be received by 01/22/02, 3:00 p.m. local time. Offers are to be received by 02/07/02, 3:00 p.m. local time, at General Service Administration FB-44, 300 W. Congress St., Rm. 2-J, Tucson, AZ 85701-1380. The performance period shall be 60 days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-aside. Applicable NAICS code is 235110, Special Trade Contractor, Plumbing Contractors. The estimated price range is between $25,000 to $100,00.
