- NA The Point of Contact for this solicitation is Teresa Thormar at 206-764-3653.Grounds Maintenance Services for roadsides and grounds of overlooks, recreation areas as and project building grounds at Chief Joseph Dam Project, Bridgeport, WA. Proposed procur ement will result in a Fixed Price type contract with and base and three option periods. The anticipated Base year period is March 1 through December 31, 2002. If awarded, subsequent option periods will have consecutive performance periods of January 1 t hrough December 31 of each follow on year. Work includes refuse and litter pickup; facility cleaning; developed lawn maintenance, non-developed Vegetation maintenance; lawn, tree and shrub fertilization; pruning; hand-pulling weeds; dead vegetation remova l; terrace irrigation; and general ground maintenance service. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on the Seattle District US Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Web page in electronic format only. No disks will be mailed. Fi rms must register via the Internet at the following address http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct in order to receive notification about amendments. Registered firms will be notified via electronic mail when the solicitation is available for download. Please ensure that your electronic mail address is correct in order to receive prompt notifications. Estimated award date is February 24, 2003. To be eligible for contract award a firm must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Regist er via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code has been replaced by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. The NAICS code for this project is 56173 which is matched to SIC code 0782. Project is 100% Small Business Set Aside. For purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its average annual receipts are $5 million or less.
