- Description
- The Corporation for National and Community Service, a wholly-owned Government Corporation intends to award a contract to a qualified vendor who can design, install, inspect and test automatic sprinkler systems for ten (10) houses at the Veterans Administration, Maryland Healthcare System Campus in Perry Point, Maryland. All work shall be performed in accordance with National Fire Protection Act 13D. Exposed pipes are permitted. Interested parties may obtain Interested parties may obtain a copy of the floor plans for the houses in which the sprinkler systems are to be installed and arrange for a site visit by contacting the POC listed in this announcement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information available upon request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HQMWS0204 and is issued as a request for a quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This request is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this requirement is 235110, Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors. The size standard is $11.5M. The provisions at 52.212.1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items with its offer. This is a best value procurement and evaluation of offers will be based on quality, past performance, and price. References must be included with your offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause 51.212-5, Contract Orders Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clauses listed in 52.212-5 (b) and (c) are included by reference. Responses to this RFQ are due at the above office by COB January 9, 2002.
