Description
Provide open-ended Architect Engineering(A/E) design services. This is a l00% set aside for Emerging Small Businesses(ESB) only. The NAICS Code is 54l3l0 with a size standard of $4.0 million. ESB are firms that gross annual receipts for three preceding years have not exceeded $2.0 million. The VA Medical Center, New Orleans, Louisiana is proposing to award two open ended contracts to provide investigation, design survey, verification of as-built conditions, construction drawings, cost estimates, phasing and estimated construciton time for various projects. The total amount of task order(s) under each open ended contract will not exceed $50,000. The contract period will be for one year with three (3) one year renewal options. Individidual design tasks orders may be issued during this period until the maximum contract of $50,000 is expended. Projects may consist of construction disciplines including but not limited to: Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Heating & Air conditioning Engineers, clerical support,draftmen as well as environmental and safety issues. Awarded contracts will included negotiated labor rates for probable work categories needed. These rates will apply to delivery task order(s) issued for A/E services on individual projects. Firms who meet the requirements of this announcement shall submit two (2) copies of 254 and 255s no later than close of business January 8, 2002. The area of consideration is restricted to a 100 mile radius of the New Orleans Metropolitian area. A/E selections will be based on the professional and specialized services as stated in Numbered Note 24.
