Description
NASA/KSC plans to issue a draft Statement of Work. This document is for information and planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, as well as promote competition. Prospective offerors are invited to submit comments or questions to: NASA/ Kennedy Space Center, Mail Code: OP-MS, Attn: Sean Howe, KSC, FL 32899, no later than December 4, 2001 of fax to (321) 867-2825, Attn: Sean Howe. In responding to the above, reference PR 0278-4205. For further information, contact Sean Howe at (321) 867-7258. The bidder shall provide a matrix that states either compliance or noncompliance to all requirements identified in Section 3.0 Delivery Schedule, Section 4.0 Requirements, Section 8.0 Reliability, Section 9.0 Documentation, Section 10.0 Identification and Marking, and Section 11.0 Warranty. Provide measured parameters (power supply laboratory tests) for Section 5.0 Performance Specifications. To ensure the probability of compliance to Section 7.0 Environmental; Identify the type and all part numbers for interface terminal blocks or connectors, identify method to secure large components onto the printed circuit board, and identify EMI filtering. The power supply will be mounted to the vibration table, for each required axis, utilizing the specified mounting holes. This Draft Statement of Work is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the review. Any questions regarding this announcement should be directed to the identified point of contact. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
