- Description
- Provide all necessary labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary to convert quarters to Station "Small" at USCG Station Sheboygan, WI. The work is defined as follows: 1.1 Construct new concrete sidewalks and asphalt parking area. 1.2: Construct new concrete foundation for flagpole, sign post and communication tower. 1.3: Construct new wood frame garage, and demolish existing wood garage. 1.4: Move existing flagpole and sign. 1.5: Construct (government furnished) 80' steel communication tower. 1.6: Construct new chain link fence, and demolish existing chain link fence. 1.7: Renovate interior of duplex housing building. 1.7.1: Construct new bath on 2nd floor. 1.7.2: Reconstruct floor and ceilings of (2) kitchens to original 9 feet ceiling height. 1.7.3: Provide new vinyl floor or refinished hardwood surfaces for 1st, 2nd, and stairways. 1.7.4: Paint interior walls and ceilings. 1.7.5: Replace (4) exterior wood doors with insulated steel doors. 1.7.6: Replace all building wood windows and screens with energy efficient units. 1.7.7: Replace hot water heater. 1.7.8: Construct new air conditioning system. 1.7.9: Construct (2) new wood entrance porches. 1.7.10: Construct new showers (replace tubs) for (2) existing baths, and janitors closet in place of (1) existing half bath. 1.7.11: Construct fire alarm system. 1.7.12 Construct public address system. Unit Work Items: A) Replace windows and screens, with new vinyl clad units. B) Replace garage with new wood frame structure, on existing foundation. The period of performance is 224 days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 and is open to both small and large businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code for this procurement is 233320. Due dates for bids will be not less than 30 days after bid issuance. Please do not rely on the estimated bid opening date of 1/31/02.
