- DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) sub part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ)F09650-02-T-0122. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, GA contemplates negotiation on a full and open competition basis to procure for purchase the following item. CARBON DIOXIDE-TECHNICAL, GRADE B, NON-MEDICINAL, 99.5% PURE, BULK DELIVERY, MUST COMPLY WITH FEDERAL SPECIFICATION BB-C-101, Estimated Quantity 6,138,000 Lbs. Deliveries will be made to three locations on base. The period of performance is 21 Dec 01 through 20 Dec 02. Delivery locations are: Bldg. 150, Bldg 169, and Bldg 20180 on Robins AFB, GA. Deliveries shall be made as follows: Bldg 150 - Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM on as "as called" basis; Bldg 169 - Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM (tank size 25,000 Lbs); Bldg 20180 - Weekdays 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM - tank required to be kept not less than 30% full at all times (Tank size 60,000 Lbs). Contractor is responsible to monitor tanks to ensure proper level is maintained. Government Points of Contact for placing orders and accepting deliveries will be given in award document. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01. NAICS is 325120 and small business size is 1000. Assets shall be delivered FOB Destination. The following incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-01 and are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1,Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4,Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items; Offerors must include(1) a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, (2)Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Contractor Establishment Code (DUNS number), and Tax Identification number; 52.211-15 Defense Priority and Allocation Requirements; 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer -- Central Contractor Registration; 52.247-1, Commercial Bill of Lading Notations; 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration.
