ACI/D-88, 4600 Sangamore Road, Bethesda, MD 20816-5003 Subject: 70 - - SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE RENEWAL for GENASYS LICENCES SOL NMA100-02-Q-0007 Due 12-21-01 POC Scott Stallsmith, Contract Specialist, 301-227-7816/2218 fax, email: stallsms@nima.mil Description: National Imagery and Mapping Agency intends to award a sole-source procurement to Gena Warehouse Limited, Manchester, UK for the software maintenance renewal for Genasys products. Authority for sole source procurement is 10 USC 2304(c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1. This is a synopsis of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Gena Warehouse Limited and no solicitation shall be issued. Responsible sources who are interested in this procurement may respond by providing clear and convincing information that identifies their capabilities. Requirements: Item 0001, Qty 1 Lot, Software maintenance for existing licenses: 8 GenaMap Developer/Server Licenses (IBM RS6000), 8 GenaCell Licenses, 38 GenaMap Runtime Licenses, 3 Spatial API Licenses. Support period: one-year maintenance. Offerors agree to hold the price firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of quotes. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The quote number is NMA100-02-Q-0007 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 and Defense FAR Supplement 91-13. The period of performance is January 1, 2002 to December 31 2002. The provision at 52.212-1, Instruction for Offerors - - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Interested parties shall submit offers, which include the 11 items outlined in FAR 52.212-1 (b). Provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial items, is hereby incorporated by reference. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical acceptable offer whose price is lowest. Offers are to include a commercial price list, a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, offeror Representations and Certification ?
