Description

UNICOR FPI intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract. This solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal. The period of performance shall be for three (3) years for Anti-Flash Flannel, Flan-Anti-Flash, Cotton, Nat, 60" W, in accordance with MIL-G-2874E Dated July 1, 1987. Flame Retardant treated in accordance with MIL-C-24933 Dated June 23, 1987, except air permability shall be 10 cubic feet minimum/10 square feet minimum and the maximum finished weight shall not apply The estimated quantity is 131,100 yards for three (3) years. Delivery is FOB Destination at UNICOR FCI , Safford, AZ. Delivery accpetance is 45 days after receipt of each delivery order. This requirement is Domestic only, and source inspection is required. The award will be based on the best value to the Government. The evaluation factors are: Past Performance, Ability to conform to specifications, and price. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation which is due to be issued on or about January 7, 2001. A copy of this solicitation shall be retrieved from UNICOR?s website at: www.unicor.gov All questions/inquiries regarding this solicitation shall be put in writting to the attention of the Contracting Officer indicated in this notice. No telephone requests will be honored. All responsible sources shall submit an offer which shall be considered. Offers shall be completed in its entirety and mailed to the attention of Joscie L.
