- Description
- The General Services Administration intends to issue a sole source contract to Center for Creative Leadership under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and utilize the Simplified Acquisition procedures under authority of FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 01-02. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The objective of this task is provide senior executives with opportunities for education in leadership, operational/war-fighting transition, business management, and information technology. The professional development program shall assist in the development of intellectual capital and establish, institutionally, a set of ideas about leadership development that builds a corps of highly effective, 21st Century naval leaders. The Center for Creative Leadership, a nonprofit organization, is the only entity possessing the personnel and experience with the required derived leadership training specifically tailored for the U.S. Navy. In order to reduce time and travel expense, contractor should have, as a minimum, locations on the US east and west coasts, in addition to an international location. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responses received by 3:00 p.m., PST, 1/02/02 will be considered by the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted by email.
