- Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) plans to issue a Blanket Purchase Order Agreement to vendors for the purpose of refurbishment, repairing and testing a variety of video/telecommunications equipment such as Baker Audio power supplies, Codex modems, Data General Sniffer/servers, For-A-Corp correctors, Grass Valley modules/switchers/video trays, Larus Corp flexties and tielinks, Shure Brother controllers/modules/consoles, Telco cards, Ungermann Bass modules, Verilink CSU/DSUs/modules and various other equipment when required. Delivery Orders will be on a quick turnaround basis. Interested firms have fifteen (15) days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to issue multiple requests for BPAs. Responses received after the 15 days or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by CSC not to award more than one BPA on a full and open competitive basis, based upon the reponses to this notice is solely within the discretion of CSC. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS ARE "NOT" ACCEPTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 811213 and $5.0M, respectively for this SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO-A7. The anticipated release date of RFQ AD-124-MJ-01-0046 is on or about January 7, 2002 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about February 7, 2002. All qualified SMALL BUSINESS sources may submit a quote which shall be considered.
