Description
This is a synopsis of a requirement for ship repair. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-02-Q-3FA874. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, parts, services, including all necessary power, connections, fittings, and competence to perform the following onboard the USCGC SENECA (WMEC-906): 1. Resurface Flight Deck, including Talon Grid Cover, using Hydro-blast Method for removal of old Flight Deck Material. Performance period is July 22 to August 05, 2002. Place of performance is the vessels homepier located at ISC Boston, 427 Commercial Street, Boston, MA 02109-1094. RFQ and specifications will be issued electronically, and will be faxed only upon submission of written request. The government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offer: Price and Technically acceptable. The proposed solicitation listed here will be awarded as part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Request for Quote packages will be available on or about February 20, 2002 with quotes being due on or about March 20, 2002, 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, to: Commander (vpl-1) MLCLANT, 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA 23510-9102. Requests for Quotations and additional information requests may be faxed to (757) 628-4676, attn: Louis Romano. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
