Description

NA The HQ Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC) is soliciting on a full and open basis for a single contractor to provide overall program management support of the Joint Traffic Management Office intermodal equipment operations that include: (1) intermodal equipment leasing services, (2) maintenance and repair of Army-owned Containerized Ammunition Distribution System container fleet; (3) prepositioned container lease pools, and (4) information technology to meet Government missions and exerci ses on a global basis. This effort will be awarded as a five year Fixed-Price Award Term Incentive Indefinite Delivery (IQ) contract consisting of a one-year lease and four one-year options. In order to incentivize contract performance, the successful co ntractor will have the opportunity to earn up to five additional years of performance. A Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on or about February 5, 2002 to the following website: www.mtmc.army.mil. Click on ?Business Center?, then ?Solicitat ions? then ?Container Management Streamlining? look for Solicitation DAMT01-02-R-0028. Interested parties can submit comments or questions regarding the Draft RFP until February 22, 2002. The Final RFP will be issued on or about March 4, 2002 to the same website listed above. Presolicitation conference will be held February 15, 2002 (9:00AM. - 4:00PM) at the Holiday Inn Eisenhower Metro Center 2460 Eisenhower Ave, Alexandria, VA. 22314. An attempt will be made to provide answers to questions received pri or to February 11, 2002 at the conference. The agenda for the conference will be posted along with the Draft RFP. Attendees are asked to make their own hotel arrangements by calling the Holiday Inn at (703) 960-3400. Seating is limited to no more than t wo participants per company. Companies/Agencies must provide the names, phone number and e-mail addresses of attendees no later than February 5, 2002 to Ms. Teresa Knox at knoxt@mtmc.army.mil.
