Description

NA Scope Of Services: The proposed contract resulting from solicitation DAAA09-02-R-3000 will provide for: 1. Personal Property-Transportation Services at Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL 61299-5000 (RIA) for Department of Defense (DoD) Military, Coast G uard, DoD Civilian personnel and their dependents to include providing advice and assistance on packing, pick up, delivery, storage and claims of personal property shipments. 2. Mobile Equipment Operations to include providing services for the operation of RIA motor pool, dispatch of all vehicles and equipment, and the movement of cargo, equipment and passengers. 3. Mobile Equipment Maintenance to include providing maintenance and repair of Government owned vehicles and equipment managed by RIA Industrial Center Equipment Maintenance Division (SOSRI-ICE). A site visit will be held in conjunction with a pre-proposal conference, which will be announced at a later date. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210. The Small Business Size Standard is $5 Million Dollars. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated with a base year and 4 one year option periods. The base performance period is 01 OCT 2002 thru 30 SEP 2003. This is an unrestricted solicitation and all responsible sources may submit a proposal. The approximate issue date will be 30 days from the date of this notice. The closing date will be 60 days from the issue date.
