Description
This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors for Maintenance Services for Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility (FACSFAC) System Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is replacing the Standard Industry Code Classification (SIC). The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811213 and the annual size standard is $5 Million. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. This contract will replace a contract for similar services awarded in 1997 for $66,099.00 (firm fixed-price) and $7,710.00 estimated (indefinite quantity) per year. We will include information about the current contract and the incumbent contractor (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) with the solicitation package. We do not require requests under the Freedom of Information Act for this information0 Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small business (SB). Interested SB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SB concerns. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit past performance and experience information, and price proposal for evaluation by the Government. Interested parties should respond not later than 14 days from the date of this notice.
