- Description
- The William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, NJ proposes to award a cost plus fixed fee ? completion contract to the Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC) located in Indianapolis, IN for characterization of wire degradation. The contract will constitute Phases II and III of a 3- phase project that was initiated under an interagency agreement between the FAA and the Navy. RTSC has been selected because their lab has the capability to perform virtually every test required by the wiring Quality Product List (QPL) program. Because of the sensitivity of research project, it is considered essential that an independent lab perform this tasking. This precludes wire suppliers and aircraft manufacturers. RTSC is an independent lab capable of performing the tasks and transitioning the Phase I data into Phases II and III. <P>
