- Description
- Furnish all equipment, labor, and materials to construct 600 feet of specially designed *Falling Rock Fence Containment System* on a steep roadside rock slope. The complete system design and material supplier shall be approved by the Forest Service. Work to be accomplished in accordance with the applicable terms, conditions, plans and specifications. The system consists of wire hoops, mesh fencing, support posts, rock anchors, support cables, and braking elements. Existing fencing shall be removed. Work will performed on Cherokee National Forest land at Forest Highway #512 Unaka Springs Road, Unicoi County, Tennessee. Contract period will be 150 days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed.
