Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote. The Government intends to award this requirement on a sole source basis to BAT System Inc., CR 206 Giddings/Lee County Airport, Giddings, Texas 789 42 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 532411. The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center at White Sands Missile Range, NM has a requirement for the lease of a LET-410 Aircraft and crew to support paradrop training. The aircraft must be certified for paradrops through the USAOTC AbnSpec Ops Test Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The CLINS consist of CLIN 0001AA Flight Time estimated 100 Hours, CLIN 0001AB Per Diem an d CLIN 0001AC Air Planning Cell estimated 20 days. FOB will likely be Fort Campbell, Kentucky but could be anywhere CONUS. The period of performance will be from 01 March 2002 through 30 September 2002. Testing and Acceptance will be accomplished within 30 days from end of training. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers Commercial Items; FAR 52. 212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification Commercial Items; FAR 52.21 2-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; FAR 52. 212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders Commercial Items; FAR 52.232-36 Payment by Third Party; DFAR S 252.212-7000 Offeror Representation and Certification Commercial Items and DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Ter ms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items. All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), prior to award. Vendors that have a bona fi de interest must also present clear and convincing evidence of their capability to provide this requirement in writing. All responsible sources that can meet the above requirement will be considered by the Government. The full text of a provision or clause may be accessed electronically at www.arnet.gov/far. Offers may be submitted in contractor format and shall include: (1) Company name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and FAX number; (2) solicitation number; (3) unit and extended prices for all CLINs; (4) prompt payment terms; (5) Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN); (6) Contractor DUNS Number and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code; and (7) completed copy of the Representations and Certifications at FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7001.
