- Description
- The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute intend to purchase the brand name or equivalent UVP BioImaging and Analysis System manufactured by UVP Inc. The product includes: One (1) each, BioChemi System for Visible Light, Fluorescent and Chemilumincscent Imaging and Analysis, complete with; 1.6GHz Pentium 4 PC, 20GB hard drive, 128MB Ram, 10X-4X-32X Re-Writable CD-RW, 250 MB zip disk, 100MHz system bus, 16MB AGP graphics accelerator, Network card, keyboard, muse and Windows 98, BioChemi Digital CCD Camera, with 12, 14 or 16-bit performance, 1280 x 1024 maximum resolution, 30 frames per second refresh scan rate, two-stage peltier cooled with forced air (-40C), rigid stabilized mount, 25mm FO.85 fixed lens and 11.5x69mm F1.4 zoom lens, close-up diopter, high resolution PCI digitizing board (installed in the PC), power supply and cables, EpiChemi II Darkroom, with overhead UV (254 & 365nm) and overhead diffused white light, 5-color filter wheel )for 60% transmission from 450 to 650nm of all fluorescent stains), sliding retractable transilluminator tray, fold down chemi blot platform, fluorescent sample viewer and multiple UV interlocked safety switches, LMS-26E, 3UV (254/302/365NM), 21x26cm Trans-illuminator with UV to white light and UV to 480nm blue light converter plates, Digital Thermal Gray Scale Printer with software driver and one roll of archive quality thermal paper, Labors Image Acquisition and Analysis Software, featuring: Image Acquisition Modes; Live Saturation Preview, On-Chip Integration Sequential Integration (multiple pre-programmed automatic exposures) Dynamic Integration (automatic on-chip exposure through frame staking) Time Elapsed Integration (multiple exposures over a specified time frame) D.P. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with Offerors providing the requested product. Therefore, the initial offer should contain the offeror?s best terms from a technical and price standpoint. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Size Standard is 500 employees for this requirement. The small business set-aside has been lifted for this requirement. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. Interested vendors capable of furnishing the government with the products in this synopsis should submit two (2) copies of a quotation to the below address. The quotation shall include the itemized price, commercial price list, prompt payment terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin) Shipping cost if applicable, business size, Taxpayer Identification Number (TNN), Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNs), and descriptive literature of the product quoted. The quotation must reference ?Solicitation number? NHLBI-PS-2002-038. Quotations will be due fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this synopsis or February 25, 2002, by 8:30 a.m. local time, whichever is later. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency.
