Description
NA Furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment; and performing all work in strict accordance with this Statement of Work forming parts thereof for repair of concrete paving at various sites at the Anniston Army Depot. A complete listing of work elemen ts to be performed is located at the end of the Statement of Work. Generally all materials removed shall be disposed of at the designated site(s) on depot as directed by the contracting officer. Disposal area(s) will be located within a five (5) mile rad ius of the work site(s). Contractor shall excavate existing concrete or asphalt paving and grade areas to drain to existing drains. Contractor shall place a 9 inch thick wwf reinforced concrete slab in areas shown on Plan IE270-01, 5 sheets. wwf shall b e 6 X 6 X 6/6. Concrete shall be 4000 psi. Contractor shall submit plan, for approval, showing control and expansion joints. 1/2 inch expansion joint shall be placed against all existing concrete. Approximately 24,350 square feet is to be excavated and concrete placed. Contractor shall verify all measurements in field for accuracy before beginning work. Amount of excavation required shall average 9 inch deep. Concrete slab shall be 9 inch thick throughout. Forms shall be placed except where new conc rete joins the existing concrete slab. Around edges where new concrete ends, areas shall be back-filled so that the adjoining dirt is the same elevation as the concrete. Compaction shall be required at all areas before placing concrete. Contractor shall be responsible for all proctors and compaction tests. Results shall be available to COR on request. Magnitude of this project is between $100,00.00 and $250,000.00. Performance period is for 270 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This i s an unrestricted procurement. North American Industry Classification System Code is 235710. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Bids subm itted must be in electronic format as stated in solicitation.
