Description

NA This is modification three (3) to final synopsis Objective Force Warrior DAAD16-02-R-0004. The purpose of the modification is to update potential offerors on the status of the final solicitation and the Section 845 Other Transactions for Prototypes re-del egations of authority. All Army delegations to award agreements using the 845 Other Transactions for Prototypes lapsed as of 9/30/01. The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center Principal Assistant Responsible for Contracting (PARC) has approved the A cquisition Plan for OFW, allowing us to proceed up to the point of award(s). No agreement awards can be made without the re-delegation. All potential offerors will be advised as soon as the re-delegations have occurred. Significant Army organizations t hat will be affected by OFW, have indicated a desire to perform a 'hands-on' review of the final solicitation prior to its release to industry. We project this will cause a revised release date as early as 21 February or as late as 8 March 2002. We offer this information for planning purposes only and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused industry. If this information changes, another modification to this synopsis will be published notifying industry of release date changes or receipt of the Se ction 845 OT for Prototype Projects authority.
