- This is for a firm fixed-price contract to include three (3) NSNs applicable to C-5 aircraft: CLIN 0001: Five (5) each Valve, Linear, Direct, NSN 4810-00-194-7576UC, P/N: 93390-13. DIM: 3 inches long x 2.070 inches diameter. MATL: Aluminum. FUNC: The Linear Directional valve is attached to the aileron manifold assembly, electrically energized to actuate hydraulic fluid to the main aileron manifold, to actuate the actuator to move the aileron control surface. CLIN 0002: Two (2) each Valve, Selector, NSN 4820-00-856-3616UC, P/N: 2660373. DIM: approximately 6 inches x 6 inches. MATL: Aluminum alloy with steel internal parts. FUNC: Controls directional hydraulic fluid flow through hydraulic systems. CLIN 0003: Four (4) each Cylinder, Actuating, NSN 3040-00-184-3661UC, P/N: 92941-5. DIM: 10.5 inches long x 4.625 inches diameter. MATL: Aluminum alloy. FUNC: The Cylinder controls the aileron. DEL: August 2002. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 12 March 2002 with an approximate response date of 12 April 2002. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading from www.FedBizOpps.gov website only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. Restricted to PARKER HANNIFIN (CAGE 59211), Irvine, CA. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), "Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" applies. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. All potential sources should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals or in the source selection process.
