- Description
- This is a source sought/market survey for 12-gauge shotgun cartridges to support the Soldier Enhancement Program (SEP). The program is designed to procure, test, and field a non-lethal cartridge capable of inflicting temporary incapacitation without modifications to any of the standard service 12-gauge shotguns. The cartridge shall be effective and accurate from 45 ? 75 meters, and be capable of marking the incapacitated target while minimizing permanent injuries. This list of available markers shall include a ultra-violet variant. The cartridges shall consist of lead-free components and allow full training and operation within the temperature range of -20C to 40C. All responsible interested sources are encouraged to submit their capabilities/qualification data in regard to the above survey no later than May 15, 2002 to: Commander, U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC, ATTN: AMSTA-AQ-APD, Terry Niederhaus, Bldg. 10, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. all information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government.
