PRON: AX246051AX, NSN: 3040-00-943-0054, PN: 1-140-067-14, Quantity: 483 each requirement applicable to the T-53 turbine engine. F.O.B. Origin with delivery to Texarkana, TX, New Cumberland, PA, and Stockton, CA. Required delivery is 417 each 225 Days Af ter Award (DAA) and 28 each per month thereafter until contract completion. Contractor tested first article is required. Serial number reporting is required. This item is restricted to the approved small business sources PYE AND HOGAN MACHINE CO, Cage C ode 06320 and DYNATECH INTL CORP, Cage Code 63172 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. F irms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.
