Description

The Air Force Flight Test Center, Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base California, intends to award a sole source non-commercial purchase order to Brigham Young University. The requirement is a follow-on to a previous purchase order to provide non-personal service for technical and management services to the Advanced Range Telemetry (ARTM) project. ARTM is an OSD funded, tri-service development project to upgrade the DoD telemetry infrastructure. The purpose of the requirement is for research and development to effectively improve the reliability of DoD impairments. Through earlier studies performed by the ARTM program, it has been determined that the dominant channel impairment is a phenomenon known as Multipath interference. The purpose of this effort is to maintain and improve the current RF channel model and analyze potential methods of mitigating the impact on aeronautical flight test. Anticipated period of performance is one year. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541710 and the size standard is $5.0M.
