Description

This is a combined synopsis/RFQ for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA is in the process of renewing a maintenance agreement for Xerox 8830-500 & 8830-DDS machines. The Government will award a Purchase Order resulting from this combined synopsis/RFQ to the responsible contractor whose quotation, conforming to this RFQ, which is the lowest price, and most advantageous to the Government. Offers shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, adherence to applicable clauses, provisions, and delivery schedule and satisfactory past performance record. Incorporated provisions and clauses are as follows. FAR Provision 52.212-1, applies to this acquisition. Offer shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offer Representation and Certification-Commercial Items, which may be accessed on the Internet (http:''www.arnet.gov/far/). Additional applicable FAR Clauses: 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.222-3, 52.203-6, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-3, 52.225-13, 52.225-15, 52.232-33, 52.232-34 and GSAM Clause 552.212-71, 552.229-70 apply. Note: Oral price quotations will not be accepted for this procurement. All price quotations shall be submitted Jennifer Stewart, not later than February 26th, 2002.
