Description

INTENT TO NEGOTIATE FOR A 10 YEAR LEASE OF APPROXIMATELY 34,000 RENTABLE SQUARE FEET OF OFFICE AND RELATED SPACE INCLUDING 200 OUTSIDE PARKING SPACES. The General Services Administration announces that it intends to negotiate a sole source procurement for a 10 year lease that includes approximately 34,000 rentable square feet of office and related space including 200 surface parking spaces. GSA plans to negotiate one lease agreement with the lessor of the Valley Office Building, located at 1801 Lind Avenue, West Building, Renton, Washington for both "Temporary Space" and "Permanent Space" on a prime lease. Temporary space includes the north 7,000 square feet of the 1st floor of the West Building effective May 1, 2002 and would be vacated upon moving into the Permanent Space, estimated to be November 1, 2002. The permanent space includes the entire 2nd floor and a portion of the 1st floor of the North Building effective November 1, 2002. The Permanent Space would total approximately 34,000 rentable square feet and would be for a 10-year term. The primary tenant agency has determined that the space requirement needs to be within a 4-minute walk, or no more than 800 feet from their current location at 1601 Lind Avenue SW, Renton, Washington 98055-4099 in order to accommodate their mission related mandate.
