Description

NA This acquisition is for rental of service location to evaluate and perform refractive surgery procedures on active duty personnel. Service locations are to provide all equipment necessary for the performance of primary laser refractive surgery and any enh ancement procedures. This should include an excimer laser, the microkeratome, blades, cannualas, sponges, drapes, etc, experienced technicians to assist in performing laser refractive surgery and help evaluate prospective patients. At a minimum, this inc ludes one technician to operate the laser and another to operate the microkeratome. Equipment necessary to examine patients both prior and after surgery. To include eye examination lane with a Snellen acuity chart, a slit lamp microscope, a corneal topog rapher, a pachymeter, and an ophthalmoscope. Treatment kits for postoperative care. Patients will travel to the vendors service location. Therefore, the service;equipment must be provided within Bexar County. This requirement will be processed under Comm ercial Item Procedures. This procurement is unrestricted and all responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. Award will be made on or about 10 May 2002.
