- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has a requirement for Architectural Design and Construction Documentation Administration Services. These services are required for all OCC office space. The OCC is headquartered in Washington, DC (approx. 200,000 sq. ft.) and has one data center (approx. 30,000 sq. ft.), one Large Bank office (approx. 10,000 sq. ft.), one Ombudsman office in Houston, TX (approx. 30,000 sq. ft.), six district offices (approx. 35,000 sq. ft. each), and sixty-eight field offices (approx. 4,000 sq. ft. each) throughout the country. The OCC is continuously involved in the construction and renovation of its office space due to a number of regulatory, real estate, and staffing requirements. Annually, the OCC will be involved with approximately 15 to 25 duty station moves or renovation projects. The contractor shall primarily be required to provide test fits, design intent documents and/or construction documents, and pre-construction/construction administrative services. The Government intends to award an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. The ordering period of the contract shall be from the date of award of the contract through September 30, 2002 with provisions for extending the contract with four one-year options. This acquisition is being conducted as a full and open competition. Please note, a major qualification requirement for this acquisition is that the contractor must be able to provide state registered or licensed architects or engineers throughout the continental United States. A large business concern will be expected to provide a subcontracting plan prior to award of a contract. A copy of this solicitation will be available for download from the FBO site on or about April 1, 2002.
