Description

The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to perform refuse collection service within the Presidio of San Francisco, San Francisco, CA. The Presidio is a National Park and a Historic Landmark. Scope of services may include but is not limited to: (a) refuse collection of residential, commercial and light industrial type buildings (i.e. food service); (b) residential recycling; and (c) on-call debris box service (i.e. construction debris, green waste). Contract will be awarded for one base period beginning October 1, 2002 with option years. Minimum qualifications include: Pre-Qualification Letter issued by the Director of Public Health for the City & County of San Francisco for refuse collection at this site. Proposals will be evaluated based upon criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP), including but not limited to: Proposed refuse collection approach; Proposed residential recycling approach; Proposed Price; and Past Performance.
