Description: The intent of this contract is to secure services for mechanical site preparation for tree planting by pulling and piling of shrubs, cutting or pulling of trees not meeting "leave tree" definition and piling logging slash in some areas using an excavator with bucket or grapple to meet Forest Service standards and guidelines. The project is located on the Nevada City Ranger District and consists of approximately 135 acres. Contract work time 84 days. Estimated start work date July 2002.
