Description

The U.S. Coast Guard will be issuing a solicitation for six(6)Contraband Team Detection Kits; CSECO Model Number CT-30-10 or equal. These kits are required for contraband searches (both visually and through physical measurements) confined spaces, such as fuel tanks, water tanks, voids and other compartments aboard sea-going vessels that are not easily accessible to personnel. Kits shall be in exact accordance with the specifications and quantities listed in the Statement of Work and applicable purchase order clauses contained in the solicitation. This solicitation is a set-aside 100% for small business. The SIC Code is 334519. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price. The solicitation will be posted on this web site on or about 19 Jun 2002 and shall close on or about 05 Jul 2002. The following notice is for informational purposes: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
