- Description
- SYNOPSIS: Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to replace the fence and gates at U.S. Coast Guard Station Gulfport, Mississippi. The work includes but is not limited to a) remove approximately 1293 linear feet of chain link fence b) furnish and install approximately 1093 linear feet of 7 ft. high chain link fence with 3 strands of barbed wire on top c) furnish and install 200 feet of 12 ft. high chain link fence with 60 feet of 3 strands of barbed wire on top d) furnish and install one 16 ft. vehicular slide chain link fence gate, one 14 ft. wide vehicular swing chain link fence gate, and two 42in by 7 ft high personnel gates with barbed wire, and e) furnish and install one complete vehicular exit slide gate operator system. At the end of each workday, ensure the old fence joins the new fencing, and is held in place with metal ties to prevent access to the Coast Guard facility. This is a Best Value solicitation, with The following are the evaluation factors all of equal value: 1) past performance in completing a fencing job in a security sensitive setting; 2) proposed plan for completing the task; and 3) price. Prospective offerors are advised that an award may be made without discussion or any contact concerning the quotation received. Interested quoters shall submit a list of previous completed projects from 5 years and current projects. The performance period is thirty (30) calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The anticipated award date is July 19, 2002. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235990, with a size standard of $12.0 million.
