- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Comprehensive Sanctions Center (CSC) services and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services for male and female Federal offenders in the Greater Fresno, California area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Comprehensive Sanctions Center (CSC), Amended November 2001" and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT), dated November 1999." This is a indefinate-delivery/Requirements Type with Firm-Fixed Unit Prices. The services are estimated to be 84% male and 16% female. The estimated number of inmate days for Comprehensive Sanctions Center services (Line Item One) is 26,316(males) and 5,117 (females) for the base period and 15,330 (males) and 2,555 (females) for option years one, two and three, respectively. Estimates for TDAT services (Line Item Two) are 86 intake assessments, 24-30 minute sessions per inmate for Individual Counseling and 48-30 minute sessions per inmate for Group Counseling for the base period and 49 intake assessments, 24-30 minute sessions per inmate for Individual Counseling and 48-30 minute sessions per inmate for Group Counseling for option years one, two and three, respectively. The requirements for Line Items One and Two are anticipated to result in the award of one contract. The solicitation will be available on or about June 13, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
