- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ has a requirement for three (3) Oxygen/Communication Test Sets. The test sets are required to test the communication system on the following helmet and oxygen mask assemblies as follows: HGU-34/P Helmet Assembly, HGU-47 (V) 3/P Helmet Assembly, HGU-49/P Helmet Assembly, MBU-14(V) 2/P Oxygen Mask Assembly and MBU-15 Oxygen Mask Assembly. The Oxygen Hose and Communication Test Set needed to satisfy this requirement is in accordance with the Support Equipment Recommendation System (SERD) for the V22 Program. Substitutes will not be accepted. The test set is listed as NSN: 4920-01-317-7799, P/N 1827AS100, designed with two (2) stations so that two (2) pilots' helmets and oxygen masks assemblies can be tested simultaneously. The test sets are 16 inches long, 14 inches wide, and weighs 39 pounds. The set requires 110V, 60HZ power and an oxygen gas cylinder to operate. This RFQ is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. A request for quote (RFQ) will be faxed or emailed upon request. However, all requests must be received with 15 days. Responses should reference N68335-02-Q-0156. The RFQ will not appear on the NAVAIR homepage. The RFQ will be issued on or about 27 June 2002. Any contractor seeking award of a Government contract must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contracts cannot be awarded to contractors unless they are registered.
