Description

NA Aviation Maintenance and Overhaul/Repair of Electronics Unit, Input/Output NSN: 5963-01-245-0101, Input/Output P/N 206-371-002-103 in support of the OH-58D Aircraft. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price, 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for a minimum quantity of 10 each, maximum quantity of 50 each. Technical data is not currently available to support a fully competitive solicitation. The only known sources of overhaul data for the Electronics Unit is the manufacturer?s blueprint(s)/production drawings, presently controlled by Hamilton Sundstrand (CAGE 73030), the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The aircraft prime, Bell Helicopter Textron Inc (CAGE 97499) and Hamilton Sundstrand are the only possibl e sources of overhaul for this item. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release date of the solicitat ion; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. No telephone requests will be accepted. Request will be by fax or mail only.
