Description

NA The work to be performed requires the contractor to replace finishes on all floors, walls and ceilings of all spaces in the Operating Room suite. Existing floor coverings are to be replaced with epoxy terrazzo flooring. Ceilings, door frames, walls and oth er vertical surfaces are to be surface-prepared and coated with two coats of epoxy paint suitable for Operating Room use. Wall preparations include removing any floor-to-ceiling unevenness that may exist. Submittals, including material descriptions, floor strip patterns and locations, wall finish details, and work plan shall be submitted to and approved by, the Facility Manager before commencing field work. Work is to be performed during time periods of lowest occupancy in the Operating Room suite, i.e., d uring holidays, weekends, and evenings. The work site is Martin Army Community Hospital, FT. Benning, GA. The contractor will provide all labor, supervision, material, equipment, transportation, removal and disposal of materials as required to complete thi s project. All prospective contractors should be listed in the Central Contractor Registrar (www.ccr.gov). This is an unrestricted solicitation; the NAICS code is 235430 ($12M). The range magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. I t is anticipated that this project will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract and a copy of Request for Proposal will be available on or about 21 June 2002. Solicitations will be available only electronically, at www.fedbizopps.gov. Faxed proposals w ill not be accepted.
