Description

NA The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground, (USAYPG) intends to negotiate with M/A-COM Incorporated 1011 Pawtucket BLVD, Lowell, Massachutes, 01853-3295 on an other than full and open competition basis a contract for enhancement of the heterojunction b ipolar transistor (HBT) S-band VCO developed under research and development requirements contract DAAD01-98-D-0004 for development of a Telemetry Transmitter Chip Set and Power Amplifier in support of the Hardened Sub-miniature Telemetry Sensor System (HST SS). This modification will be to improve performance in the PCM/FM and FM/FM telemetry application. M/A-COM is the designer of the (HBT) S-BAND VCO and possess the proprietary schematics and specifications. All technical data relative to the VCO is prop rietary to M/A-COM. Interested parties may submit technical literature showing their capability to meet the Government?s requirement no later than 5 August 2002. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the G overnment not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive proc urement. See Note 22.
