- Description
- Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a modification to Contract N00019-00-C-0459 with Northrop Grumman Corporation to increase the ceiling of the contract for engineering services to support demodification and reconfiguration of the unique Vehicle Enhancement Program EA-6B aircraft to a Block 82 configuration. The increase in ceiling will allow for completion of design drawings, engineering orders, and other structural analyses relative to the reconfiguration. This modification increase will be procured on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation, South Oyster Bay Road, Bethpage, NY 11714. Northrop Grumman is the sole designer and manufacturer of the EA-6B aircraft and possesses the required documentation and unique expertise required to support the Government's objective in reconfiguring the aircraft.
