- NA POCs: Contract Specialist Mr. Anthony Kindla (210)221-3007, Contracting Officer Ms. Sylvia Flores (210)221-3802 (Site Code: DADA10) DESCRIPTION: Request for industry review and comments on draft statement of work. This is a request for information (RFI) from potential sources capable of providing reference laboratory services for MEDCOM, Army Navy, & Air Force to include all necessar y qualified personnel, transportation, material, equipment, and supplies to perform and report supplemental laboratory testing services and procedures to support Department of Defense, Veterans Administration, and any other Federal; Agencies Medical Activi ties that participate in the current contract to include TRICARE Regions in the Continental United States (CONUS). A draft Statement of Work (SOW) will be available for viewing on or about July 1, 2002 to those interested sources who wish to review it and provide comments to the government. The government intends to use the information provided to develop a Request fo r Proposal (RFP) that will lead to award during FY 2003. Responses (both technical and cost) shall be submitted either by e-mail, fax (210-221-5402), or mail to MEDCOM Contracting Center, ATTN: Mr Anthony Kindla, BLDG 4197, 2107 17th Street, Fort Sam Hous ton, Texas 78234-5015. All potential sources are encouraged to include their name and Point of Contact (POC) with their firm, address, phone number, and facsimile number. Contractors are also encouraged to include their questions, comments, or concerns. Responses shall be submitted either by e-mail, facsimile, or mail to the MEDCOM Contracting Center. This information must be provided in writing on the draft SOW by 4:00 pm CDST on July 19, 2002. Sources who have expressed interest in the requirement wi ll be contacted by the MEDCOM Contracting Center personnel to schedule a day and time for them to present their questions, comments, or concerns. Each firm will be allocate one and a half hours for presentation.
