Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue a delivery order on a sole source basis to Q-Matic Corporation to procure their proprietary queuing management system software and hardware for 30 Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TAC) in California, the District of Columbia metro area, and Georgia. Under this order, the IRS also intends to procure related training, installation and networking services. The purchase of these services will allow the IRS to substantially improve the ability of management to monitor workload, adjust staffing, identify training opportunities and accurately track resource utilization at various TACs simultaneously. As a result of this automation, managers will be able to maximize efficiency by directing human resources to business units requiring the greatest need. Therefore TAC customers will obtain service within established performance metrics thereby generating increased customer satisfaction. All responsible sources that can provide the above requirement shall submit a written quotation of interest and capability by the dated specified (07/08/02). All quotes shall include FOB point, point of contact (name and telephone numbers), GSA Contract Number, if applicable, business size and payment terms. All questions must be submitted in writing.
