- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) solicits proposals to conduct a finite element analysis (FEA) of the New York State Department?s (DOT) W-beam on light post median barrier before testing it with a pickup truck in accordance with NCHRP Report 350. The FHWA is seeking responsible offerors who can provide the services outline in the solicitation. This requirement will be awarded on an unrestricted basis and the NAICS codes is 541380 and the Small Business Size Standard is $6 million average gross revenue for the last 3 fiscal years. All interested parties should submit their proposal in accordance with the attached solicitation. The solicitation and all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the Electronic Posting Systems (EPS) under FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov. Choose the ?EPS for Vendors? option followed by selection of DOT.FHWA section. The solicitation and related documents will be posed under RFQ Number DTFH61-02-Q-00119. NO WRITTEN, TELEPHONIC, FACSIMILE OR EMAIL REQUESTS will be honored. Interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by email. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically , it is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the EPS (FedBizOpps) website for any solicitation amendments. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer. This is a Simplified Acquisition and award of a firm-fixed price purchase order will be made to the offeror whose offer conforming to solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Proposals are due July 22, 2002. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the threshold is $100,000.
