Description

The U. S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) requires a prototype Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system as specified in the bid package. This project includes the following elements: (1) Hardware. (2) Software. (3) Application Development. (4) Onsite implementation Services. (5) Training. The proposed procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Interested sources may request a copy of the RFQ either by mail, faxed or e-mailed requests. The anticipated release date of the RFQ is July 31, 2002, and the anticipated receipt of quotation date is August 23, 2002. The award decision will be based upon the best value to the Government using the following evaluation factors: (1) Prior performance or experience with projects of similar scope and complexity. (2) Price. (3) Familiarity with NWS operations. (4) Delivery and implementation schedule. (5) Technical features of proposed IVR system. (6) Warranties, guarantees and technical support policies. This announcement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13, (NTE 100K). FAR Clauses in full text are available at http://www.ARNET.gov/far/.
