- Description
- The Department of Housing and Urban development intends to issue a sole source commercial contract to Mortgage Asset Research Institute (MARI) located on Sunrise Drive in Reston VA for use of their proprietary database services. MARI is the only known source for their MIDEX database. This commercial database will provide real time information allowing Ginnie Mae to screen new applicants, existing issuers and previously defaulted issuers. The Commercial contract will be structured as a base year with two one year options. MARI shall provide the following services at the best catalog price: C-1 Statement of Work The contractor shall provide the following Midex database services: 1. The Contractor shall provide Internet access to the MIDEX database including access codes for 15 accounts and 19 users per account during the entire period of performance. 2. The Contractor shall respond to all (unlimited number) electronic queries submitted over the Internet between the hours of 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM prevailing Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. 3. The Contractor shall insure that queries can be made on individual and company names and can be searched one name at a time (single search) or several names at a time (batch search). The Contractor will provide search results in an electronic format such as a "PDF" file. 4. The Contractor shall manage and track the names searched by Ginnie Mae in an electronic file within MIDEX known as the "Ginnie Mae Registry". The Contractor shall match new information added to MIDEX with previously searched names and will notify the Government Technical Monitor (GTM), by email, of the possible matches on continuous monitoring. 5. The contractor shall provide one annual on-site training session at Ginnie Mae's offices in Washington D.C. The training shall include: a. The services provided under this contract b. Source of the data in MIDEX c. Database Reports d. Database subjects e. Compliance policies f. Customer service g. Internet access 6. The Contractor shall collect and enter the public enforcement and legal actions and incidents submitted by all subscribers into the MIDEX database. 7. The contractor shall respond to standard customer service requests seeking clarifications from submitting parties. 8. The contractor shall provide a current copy of the MIDEX Policies and Procedures Guide.
